Body-Shaming - isn't it a perversion?

Today , let's make the outset with a part of a conversation - a conversation of me with a 9 years old girl.

The girl - You are so beautiful didi ( তুমি কি সুন্দর গো দিদি )

Me ( playfully with a smirk) - Is it so? Why are you addressing me as beautiful? ( তাই বুঝি? তা কেন আমায় সুন্দর বললি শুনি? )

The girl- Because you are fair. ( কারণ তুমি ফর্সা, তাই )

An innocent answer, isn't it? But a overthinking, 'philosophical' mind ( yes, I'm 'accused' with those adjectives!?) got jerked.

I'm not accusing the girl , I'm just thinking about the hypocrisy of our conception.

She is black. He is white. He is healthy. She is bony, etc...
Sometimes some innocent body-shaming happens which get ignored lightly or unknowingly; but sometimes it reaches its horribility.

Colour has it's source of light. If I say this light means the bright-sky within you, the purity of the mind, that won't be so wrong. Your colour is what your soul paints.

Colour, shape, size etc can not ascertain your beauty, your smartness, the 'You'. Yes, I know the line - "PAHLE DARSHANDHARI PICHHE GUNBICHARI". But that is not about physical 'beauty', that must be a perfect appearance and an impressive personality.

Actually, a beautiful soul makes you beautiful. Physical beauty is a myth. Well, it can't be ignored totally. But it can't be the priority.

You are beautiful. We all are beautiful. Just have to bloom yourself.
